Co-funded between 2012 and 2014 by the 7th Framework Program of the European Union and developed by a consortium of European research and industrial entities, the ARGUS project has enabled the development of an innovative personal guidance solution for blind or visually impaired persons based on the integration of binaural acoustic technologies (3D sounds) and satellite navigation technologies.
GEKO NAVSAT, under the framework of cooperation established with OK-Systems, has contributed to the development of the technical solution of personal guidance through 3D sound, and to the definition and development of tests carried out with end users.
